Meet Toni Vong, a dedicated team member with a heart for serving others! Born in Vietnam on October 11, 1976, Toni moved to San Jose, California, at age four and eventually to Sacramento in 1985. She’s always had a deep love for caring for both young and elderly people. Toni’s journey into healthcare began in 2012 after working as a manicurist from 2004. A friend, a nursing home administrator, encouraged Toni to help at a nursing home, leading her to complete a CNA program—and she fell in love with the field. She was drawn to nursing homes and knew she’d found her calling. By 2015, Toni began working in staffing, where she continued her career, eventually serving in several skilled nursing facilities across Northern California. On June 6, 2023, Toni joined the Asbury Park team, to follow our director of nursing, where she found a workplace that “feels like family, with amazing colleagues and a shared commitment to caring for residents.” Toni is excited for the future, hoping to make Asbury Park her “forever home.” She says her coworkers make each day feel less like work and more like a meaningful journey.
